Madrid - The Climate and Weather
The city of Madrid was built on a series of small mounts where the River Manzanares flows through. The average annual temperature in the shade here is 13 C or 55 F. The city itself rarely sees snow but the minimum temperatures do reach below freezing.

The sun in the northernmost reaches of Spain touches a height of 69.5 on the horizon on the summer solstice. In Tarifa, located in southern Spain, it can reach 77.5. The winter solstice has temperatures that reach 22.5 and 30.5.
